In 2007 Country Home magazine contacted Joan Carter at Wiswall House Antiques to speak with her about Mottos and Samplers; where you can find them, how valuable they are, and what you should look for, i.e. a tight weave, linen material, etc. She also supplied Country Home with some of her favorite ones, which they framed and included in the article, found in the September 2007 edition.
